As an Industrial Design Intern, you will be part of a team of creative professionals crafting user-centered products. We are looking for an Industrial Designer who is passionate about driving change and crafting a better future for our clients and their customers. This is an in-person internship in our Madison, W studio.  

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to generate innovative and creative design concepts
  • Develop initial sketches and renderings to visualize design concepts
  • Work with senior designers to refine and iterate on design prototypes
  • Ensure that design works aligns with establish design principles, guidelines, and best practices
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations

Requirements
  • Pursuing a BS or MS degree in Industrial Design
  • Completion of 2+ years of undergraduate coursework by the start of the internship
  • 2D and 3D design development skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills

Preferred Experience
  • You have a true passion for Industrial Design and human-centered product design, and your portfolio powerfully demonstrates this passion.
  • You are comfortable working on multidisciplinary projects with other engineers, designers, or researchers
  • You have experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as consulting
