As Delve's Senior Director of Project Management, you will build and lead Delve’s Project Management Office, establishing frameworks, governance, tools, and reporting systems that drive project delivery across the organizations.  

This is a high-impact leadership role. You will partner closely with Business Development, technical leads, and subject matter experts to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals.  
 

 
Responsibilities 
PMO Vision and Strategy  

  • Partner with the COO and other cross-discipline leaders to evolve the vision for the project management capability  
  • Partner with the delivery excellence initiative team to define and rollout evolved expectations for the project management and delivery lead roles  
  • Continue to evolve Delve’s delivery processes and toolsets to incorporate new services and offerings, new technologies and approaches  
  • Partner with COO to refine Delve’s project management offering, services, and differentiation for marketing and pitches 

Delivery and Operational Oversight   

  • Direct the planning, development, coordination, and evaluation of PM department operations, including establishing department goals, budgets and objectives and mechanisms to ensure the team meets goals and KPIs. 
  • Oversee day-to-day PM operations across Delve’s client engagements, including resource allocations, budget management, project health including risk mitigation, issue management and resolution 
  • Partner with operations to design, implement and manage organization, studio and CP portfolio project health dashboard.  

Client Program Management 

  • Work in collaboration with technical leads, department leaders, and other team members to manage multidisciplinary and complex projects & programs, establishing a track record of successful delivery and client satisfaction, and driving the project/program forward.  
  • Be the face of the program or project to the client, managing internal/external expectations, ensuring deliverables are met per expectations and proposals, and presenting the in-process and final deliverables to the client.   
  • Ensure risk mitigation and issue resolution processes are defined and managed  
  • Manage project budgets appropriately, ensuring variances are tracked and communicated to the client.  
  • Ensure communication strategies between internal project teams and clients are defined and managed. 

Talent Development  

  • Develop ideal candidate sample profiles, partner with recruiting to establish talent acquisition strategies 
  • Lead the evaluation, interviewing, hiring and onboarding, of project management candidates as we continue to grow the department. 
  • Direct, mentor and empower your direct reports on the journeys to project success, professional growth and project management excellence.  
  • Establish goals with, and provide ongoing feedback to, your direct reports so they can grow professionally and contribute to department and company goals
  • Manage the workload of your team to try to maintain a healthy work/life balance while still driving towards your team’s and department’s billable utilization targets

 
Requirements        

  • 12+ years of experience in project management in a professional services environment 
  • 5+ years of experience building or leading a PMO function  
  • Experience managing complex, multi-workstream portfolios 
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, margin tracking)  
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
