Delve is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Architect to join our dynamic and innovative team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems that span front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure. Your architectural leadership will help create elegant user experiences, robust services, and reliable platforms that enable our clients to bring impactful digital products and connected ecosystems to market.
 

Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable full-stack architectures that delight our clients. 
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns across the stack—including web, mobile, backend services, and cloud infrastructure—to ensure optimal performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Architect and implement modern web and mobile applications using technologies such as React, React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Design and implement secure, scalable APIs and backend services to support web and mobile applications, including interfaces to devices and embedded systems over protocols including Bluetooth BLE.
• Guide cloud architecture and deployment strategies using platforms such as AWS and Azure, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and modern DevOps practices.
• Ensure applications meet accessibility standards and industry best practices, delivering inclusive and high-quality user experiences.
• Architect and develop system documentation including requirements, architecture, and verification plans.
• Serve as a technical leader for project teams, applying engineering principles, technical knowledge, experience, and research to product development efforts.
• Interact regularly with clients to share architectures and concepts, project progress, capture requirements, communicate changes to scope, and general updates.
• Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into interactive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Guide mobile development and oversee processes for app store submission, release management, and ongoing updates.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to staff-level engineers, and contribute to the development and refinement of departmental engineering standards and best practices.
• Work with the sales and leadership teams to estimate and schedule development effort.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science, computer engineering or related disciplines
• 10+ years of experience as a Software Architect, Full-Stack Engineer, or similar role
• Experience working in consulting or professional services 
• Experience with software as a medical device (SaMD) development 
• Proficiency with modern web and mobile technologies such as React, React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Experience designing and deploying scalable cloud-native applications
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend services
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with mobile application development and app store deployment processes
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, data structures, algorithms, and programming methodologies
• Proven understanding of UI/UX principles and design patterns
