Delve is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to grow our team.  This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge products across industries, including consumer goods, commercial products, transportation, and medical devices.  You’ll work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with Embedded Software Engineers Mechanical Engineers, Physical Designers, Digital Designers, and Strategists to deliver exceptional products to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a technical lead on project teams, applying engineering principles, technical knowledge, experience, and research to all phases of product development.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to staff-level engineers, while helping to shape department best practices.  
  • Develop creative and functional electronics designs based upon the needs of our clients 
  • Provide insights into emerging technologies and uncovering, identifying, and creating business and product opportunities for our clients during strategic conceptualization efforts 
  • Develop innovative product concepts through a process of collaborative brainstorming and verifying feasibility with a combination of analytical tools and physical modeling 
  • Represent electrical engineering considerations within multi-disciplinary development teams
  • Partner with sales and leadership to scope projects, estimate effort, and align schedules.  


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics hardware development
  • Proficiency with embedded and application software development in C, C++, C#/.Net, and Python, with knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles

Preferred Experience
  • Skilled with Altium or other electrical CAD tools.
  • Experienced in designing microprocessor-based electronic solutions.
  • Comfortable integrating sensors into hardware systems.
  • Knowledgeable in PCB layout best practices, and adept at developing and executing circuit board test plans.
  • Familiar with developing hardware for communication protocols such as Ethernet, SPI, I2C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other wireless standards.
  • Experienced in actuation solutions involving motors, solenoids, and similar systems.
  • Background in consulting
